Welcome to the Kentucky Center for School Safety Website

Everyday parents send their children off to school with the expectation that they will remain safe.  Across this great Commonwealth, we as educators never need to lose sight of that great responsibility.

The Kentucky Center for School Safety staff is committed to providing training, resources, information and research.
In today's society, school safety is a daily issue that ranges from classroom management to school shootings. This website is available for planning, training or emergency assistance.

Governor Steve Beshear signs the proclamation declaring the third week in October, Kentucky Safe Schools Week.  Students from across the Commonwealth witness the signing in the Governor's office at Frankfort, Kentucky. Watch this site for SSW details.
