LouAnn Johnson
Known for her story that inspired the
box office hit Dangerous Minds, she
will present her approach to addressing the
needs of those students others believe are
"hard to teach." Her opening session
is entitled Teaching Outside the Box,
she will share the strategies and philosophy
that have enabled her to successfully
motivate students from many different
backgrounds, including elementary
non-readers, at-risk teens, college
undergraduates, ESL students and
developmental-level adult learners.

Marissa Randazo
This national expert and co-author of the
landmark national study of school shootings
conducted by the U.S. Department of
Education and U.S. Secret Service will
review key findings on American school
shootings an implications for prevention.
